Forest Fathers - Reclaiming Fatherhood in Nature (Meetup)

  • Temescal Gateway Park 15601 Sunset Boulevard Pacific Palisades, CA, 90272 United States (map)

An opportunity for fathers to come together in conscious community and celebration of nature. Fathers will be led through creative play exercises with children to strengthen imagination and explore shared power dynamics. Come ready to get dirty, let go of control and release the wild man inside. This program is free and open to all who identify as fathers as long as you come with at least one child.

More events to come. If you can not make this one or have older children, please join the facebook group Forest Fathers Los Angeles for more details.  https://www.facebook.com/groups/2166603146947551/

This is a place for fathers to find community and support in creating the world we want to live in. We are dedicated to fostering shared power dynamics with our children, connecting to our wild nature and modeling stewardship of natural spaces for future generations.

This platform is intended to create opportunities for fathers of all types; married, single, LGBTQ, straight, working, stay at home, and part time to come together in person, in nature, in the Los Angeles area. All that is required is an open mind and a desire to connect authentically to each other and nature.

FREE. Meet at the the wooden platform, under the oak tree, by the creek, just past the first parking area.
